I love an adventure and love to travel! You don't have to ask me twice if I want to go somewhere... I can be packed in about 5 minutes! That may be a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea!

Because of my work with an international children's ministry, I was able to visit Peru, Honduras and England. I had a trip to Tajikistan scheduled that was canceled. I think I was actually relieved when it was, but what an adventure that would have been!

Unfortunately, my trip to England was unexpectedly extended! I was on the train leaving London heading for the airport to come home when the engineer announced that all air traffic to the United States was cancelled - that's right, it was September 11, 2001!

I'm happily married to my best friend, Vic. We have 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren, Andrew and Kelly!

Vic loves to take long trips with his motorcycle, but I prefer shorter trips on our bicycles. We have great trails made from abandoned train routes here in Wisconsin so we try to ride as often as we can.

We have a travel trailer that right now is parked at a campground in the Wisconsin Dells area. It's a beautiful part of Wisconsin and close to lots of fun activities and restaurants so when we have friends or family visit us. Or we can just enjoy the peace and quiet when we go there alone.

Something that I'm trying to create more time for is my love of making my own cards using rubber stamps and preserving our memories with scrapbooks!

I love being able to work whenever and wherever I want. As long as I have my laptop and a phone... I'm in business! The flexibility of setting my own hours around my family's needs and the things I want to do is priceless!

But just as important to me is the people! I have been so blessed by so many people that I would never have known without this business. I've met some of my best friends through this industry. I'm privileged to have team members in Alaska, Hawaii, most of the continental states ~ as well as Guam! And I can't wait to take those road trips to meet them all!

When I was in second grade my dad accepted a job that contracted to different railroad companies welding rail into quarter mile lengths. I grew up all over the United States and parts of Canada. I was never in one school for a whole school year! It was great fun and is probably what has given me such a passion for travel!

My dream of financial independence probably started then as well. During one of our stays in Illinois, I had my own newspaper route. This was a novelty at that time as not too many girls had paper routes. For a while I even signed up with a company to sell stationary and greeting cards to all our friends and neighbors. When I reached the end of the boundaries that my mom had set for my 'territory', my friends and I played 'office' with the demo material that was left. I guess I never really got over loving the feeling of independence and accomplishment that gave me!

Throughout the years I've always searched for the vehicle that would give that back to me. I tried Amway... TWICE! I worked with a water filter company and I strongly considered a company that had a three dimensional camera! LOL! And several other companies that for one reason or another just didn't work out. But I don't regret a minute of it. The things I've learned and the lifelong friendships that were established are priceless.

I am more convinced than ever this industry is THE way to build, not just a business, but a lifestyle. I've carefully chosen which company to work with and I am totally confident it has the stability necessary to build a retirement and a lifestyle around. And now, with the Internet, I can work from anywhere, EVEN while on VACATION! We have set our goals and have never looked back. We are well on our way to living our dream of traveling and seeing the world!!!
