If I could only share one thing with you about me it would be.....
that I love a challenge & I am not a quitter. Rather than crumbling under pressure I become more determined - I'm stubborn !
Whether it's learning a new art form or learning something new on the computer- I refuse to let it conquer me; I conquer "it" !
I am self taught at many things & I like it that way.

Aside from that.....
I am married to my soul mate Rich who has unending patience with me and never lets me down. We have 3 kids, Tara 18, Molly 21, & Tim 23. They never cease to make us very proud ! My family is my "why" for wanting my candle business to be a huge success. I want to help my husband retire, help Tim through medical school, buy Molly a horse farm, and help Tara achieve her dream of owning her own music promotion company. And me? Well if I can achieve the above then I will be quite content to be free to relax and enjoy my hobbies of basket weaving, painting, gardening, decorating my home & learning to quilt. I love music & hope to learn to play bass guitar soon ! I also love to dance-- from ballet to hip hop & urban-- love it all.

The best thing about having my own business is......
It is mine & I am working for ME !
I ENJOY working my candle business.... it's CANDLES, it's FUN !!! Everyone loves candles & I really don't have to teach my customers anything technical about them-- Burn, smell, & enjoy ! They do & come back for more.
I am a big believer in aromatherapy and have always loved candles. I often found them to bother my allergies which was a bummer, until I found these wonderful natural wax candles made from vegetable & soy wax. Now I can burn a lilac candle right under my nose with no headache, no sinus troubles & no coughing !
I found my dream candles-- yup, I love my candle business!
And the fact that I can make residual income is something I could never have in my profession as a nurse. Nursing was financially a dead end job-- with my candle business, the sky is the limit . Did I already say I love my candle business ???

For me it all started when.....
I was looking for a line of candles to go with my basketry business. An Internet search brought me to my sponsor Kim Cook- at the time I had no idea that my life & my dreams were about to change. Kim was kind & patient , & sent me scent samples & tons of info about the company & the candles. I ordered one candle to try & was blown away at the scent throw & that it did not bother my allergies. I bought another candle & when I got kind of panicky when that candle was almost gone, I realized--- this is MY candle company ! I knew I wanted & needed these candles burning in my home everyday, so I joined the Candle of the Month program to enable me to purchase at wholesale.
Now I am not only enjoying the candles myself, but am sharing them with happy, loyal customers & shops. I have even begun to build my own team and am enjoying every minute of it ! I feel so lucky to be a part of this team. We are growing rapidly yet everyone is warm & willing to help 24/7. We are all rooting for each other's success here on the Free To Relax team ; )
